Kelso

On Thursday Bez and I travelled up to the Scottish Borders ready for the Kelso Ram Sale on Friday. It is held on the 2nd Friday September every year and most years we go up and buy a few new tups.
This year we stayed in a B&B in Jedburgh, a small town about 30 minutes from Kelso. I find staying in B&B 's far more interesting now I am running one. I am always seeing if I can pick up any tips.
On Friday morning we were first up for breakfast and then we headed for the sale. I spent about 1 hour with Bez looking around the tups but then went into Kelso, I'm afraid I can't get all excited about buying new tups ike Bez does! Anyway by about 3pm Bez had bought 7 Texel tups and then we had to queue for about an hour for a tup taxi! which is in fact a quad bike and trailer that you have to pay to collect your tups from the pens.
We got back home just before 10pm, rather tired, hungry and a little poorer.
