goose with goslings

This goose hatched a couple of goslings herself and we fostered a couple onto her that we had hatched in the incubator. You can see a gander in the background standing guard over her, which is rather sweet. It is a few weeks since I took this photo and she has now joined the main gaggle of geese with her goslings. Another goose recently started hatching some goslings but wasn't a very good mother so we had to take 2 of them off her and put them under a hen.
