Frequently Asked Questions

What deposit do you require
To confirm a booking we will require a £250 deposit with in 2 weeks of your request. This is a non refundable deposit should you cancel your booking with us. We strongly recommend that you take out  wedding cancellation insurance. Six months before your wedding day we will request 50% of the balance and one month before your wedding day we will request the remaining balance.

Can we have live music
Yes

Is electricity available
Yes electricity is available for use in your marquee at a cost of £20

Can we bring our own drinks
You can bring your own wine/Champagne if you wish and pay a £7/bottle corkage fee or you can choose to buy the wine/Champagne from me. All other drinks will be provided by me through the cash bar. If there is something special you would like to have in the bar then we will do our best to get it in for you.

When will the marquee go up
Usually a couple of days before your wedding day which gives you chance to decorate it with flowers etc.

How long does the civil ceremony take
Approximately 30 minutes

Can we use confetti
Please only use dried flower petals.

Where can guests smoke
Smoking is permitted in the garden area where ashtrays will be available. We would request that guests don’t throw the cigarette ends onto the ground. Strictly no smoking is allowed inside the accommodation or marquee.

What time do we need to finish in the evening
The bar will close at 12 midnight and we would ask that all music finishes at 12.30am.
